Spring is in the air....

Spring is in the air and we wanted to take a few minutes to share a glimpse into what God has been doing during the first quarter of 2026 in and through Hydrate Global Ministries.

First things first… I (Shannon) began working on a 2 year Biblical Counseling degree in the Fall of 2024 and by God’s grace, I will complete the degree this coming May!  While this has been an enjoyable and beneficial experience, it has been challenging to complete tasks and assignments between moving, ministry travel and leading in my community and church yet, through God’s faithfulness He has made it possible and I am trusting Him to help me finish strong.  Counseling has become a vital part of the ministry with the ability to meet with women both in person and via ZOOM from anywhere in the world and I am committed to being obedient and trusting the Lord as he provides opportunities to meet with women on a weekly basis in their context of ministry.

Biblical Counseling training is through www.vcli.org

As some of you may know, Hydrate Global Ministries joined with another encouragement ministry (Pure Joy International) to lead a missionary retreat for women serving in ministry and missions in Thailand in February. Wow! What an amazing trip and even more amazing to experience God working in and through us as we submitted to His plan and mission. Every journey reminds us that ministry is not simply about what we do, but about how God moves when His people come together in prayer and unity.

This trip was centered on one simple but powerful purpose: to encourage and strengthen those serving on the front lines of ministry and missions. Many of the women we spent time with are faithfully pouring into others every day, often in challenging and spiritually demanding environments. Our purpose was to come alongside them, listen to their hearts, speak truth over them, and remind them that they are not alone. Ladies were treated to a a free 4 day retreat at a local hotel.  Many were refreshed and refueled from the teachings, time in worship and prayer and some even through 1:1 counseling.

One of the most meaningful aspects of our time in Thailand was the opportunity to sit face to face with these women in ministry. In those quiet moments of conversation, walls came down and space was created for vulnerability, honesty, and healing. As stories were shared and prayers were lifted, we witnessed the beauty of the body of Christ caring for one another.

There were also beautiful moments of experiencing the local culture, building relationships, and strengthening unity within our team. God used these shared experiences to deepen our connection and remind us that His church is truly global. No matter the language, culture, or distance, we are united by our calling to serve Him.

A highlight for many of us was witnessing the strength and unity of the team as we supported one another while pouring into those we came to serve. It was a powerful picture of the body of Christ in action. Proverbs 11:25 reminds us, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” We saw this truth lived out again and again throughout the trip.

As we reflect on all that God did during our recent time in Thailand, we are already looking ahead with prayerful anticipation. We are currently praying and preparing for an upcoming trip to Romania this May, where we will provide a similar opportunity of rest, restoration, and refueling for M’s (missionaries) serving around the European region. It is a privilege to come alongside these women who faithfully pour into others every day, often in some of the most remote and spiritually challenging places in the world.

This is missions. This is ministry. And none of it would be possible without the support of our incredible community of family, friends, and ministry partners who faithfully stand with us through prayer and financial support. Your partnership allows us to continue saying “yes” to the opportunities God places before us.

Thank you for standing with us for His Kingdom!
