March 2025

Winter has come and gone (as of today) and Spring is on the way! We love the newness and fresh growth of Springtime. It is such a vivid reminder of the freshness and growth that we are experiencing daily through this ministry.

In January, we began praying for the Lord to grant us the chance and the funds to travel and meet one of our new missionary partners in Cuba. God answered our prayer. In February, we had the amazing opportunity to meet and interact in person with one of our dear missionary families, the Cordovi's.

Richar and Dianna Cordovi have devoted their lives to serving their church and local community. They are enthusiastic about spreading the gospel through sports, music, and their local house church. During our recent visit, we had the opportunity to sit down with them to discuss and pray about their ongoing church projects, the daily challenges of balancing ministry and family, and the incredible work they are doing to spread hope and faith in the community. It was a wonderful chance for us to connect, listen, counsel, and pray with our friends. This marked the beginning of a beautiful friendship that we will nurture for years to come!

One of the purposes of our trip was assisting and serving at a pastors' conference that brought together church leaders from different parts of Cuba. The conference served as a platform for teaching, sharing insights, and promoting unity among the churches. We were inspired by the passion and dedication of the local pastors and church leaders, who are committed to serving their communities despite the challenges they encounter. Thanks to the generous donations from our supporters, we were able to provide the attendees with simple supplies like pens, highlighters, and notepads, which many of us take for granted. They were thrilled to receive these gifts and genuinely grateful.

Pastors Conference - They were so proud of their gifts.

We are incredibly thankful for the chance to work alongside ministry leaders in Cuba. This trip played a crucial role in strengthening our relationships with some of our global partners. We witnessed firsthand the dedication of God's people in Cuba to spreading the gospel within their communities. We eagerly anticipate continuing our support for our missionary families from home through calls, video messaging, and planning future visits to be with them in person.

*Trip Highlight - We had the chance to join Richar in the community, and we were blessed with the opportunity to pray with three individuals who accepted Christ!

March 26th marks our one-year anniversary as a ministry, and reflecting on the past year fills us with humility and amazement. From the start until now, we have witnessed God's faithfulness as He has graciously led us in officially establishing the ministry. He continually opens doors of opportunity and provides in unimaginable ways! Every day, God reveals new insights to us and confirms our understanding of how to fulfill His calling. This journey has required us to keep our plans flexible and maintain our trust in God as He continues to unveil His plan for our lives and ministry.

An expanding area of ministry is communication and counseling for ministry wives. The demand is great, and God is continually opening doors for Hydrate Global Ministries to assist women involved in ministry and missions globally. Shannon is actively engaged in her communications, counseling, and encouragement with these women and is also organizing upcoming retreats for missionary wives planned for later in the year.

Scott continues to play a significant role in the ministry by communicating with and supporting pastors both locally and internationally. Additionally, he has been praying and looking for more ministry opportunities to use his giftedness in caring for and shepherding others. Recently, Scott accepted a ministry position at Immanuel Baptist in Corbin, Kentucky, which will enable him to apply his gifts within the local church while also supporting global leaders through Hydrate Global Ministries. This is a clear response to specific prayers, and we are thankful for how God listens and answers our prayers in His own time and way.

Thank you to all who pray for us and support this ministry financially. It is your partnership that allows us to continue in the ministry of supporting and encouraging those called to lead in ministry and missions.
