We hope that you and yours had a blessed holiday season and experienced a time to rest and reflection on the birth of our Savor and your family! One area of struggle for many ministers and missionaries is trying to find the balance of leading a ministry while not sacrificing the needs of their earthly families. We at Hydrate believe that our families are our first God given ministry. We have experienced personally the importance of focusing on the ministry within our family and will always encourage other ministry leaders to do the same. This holiday season we were blessed with a couple of new additions to our grandkid crew. My daughter and son in law have followed a call to foster and adopt. This year we welcomed two sweet little boys to the family. What a gift to love on these special little men along with our five other amazing grands! We never want to take for granted the gift that God has given us through our earthy family and thank God for the way He is uniquely working out His plan in each of their lives.
2025 is going to be a year full of Vision and Hope! Thank You to those who have joined us with financial support! We are only able to minister and encourage those leading and serving in ministry because of the many faithful gifts and monthly support that we have received. While this is not our favorite area of ministry to focus on it is a necessary area of focus in ministry as it takes funding to fulfill the the vision and ministry in which God has purposed for Hydrate Global Ministries. So far this year we have several international trips planned for 2025. We will be traveling to Cuba, Honduras and Peru to make personal visits to missionaries serving on the field. These visits will include marriage enrichment retreats and a ladies retreat for women serving & leading in ministry. We would ask that you pray as we continue planning and preparing for these upcoming events.
More good news! We have entered into a partnership with Daystar Baptist Missions! Hydrate's partnership with Daystar Baptist will include opportunities for us to provide missionary care to nearly 40 Staff and Missionary Families in the U.S., Ecuador, South Africa, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
When we stepped out to begin this ministry in March of 2024 we had so many questions, unknowns and yes, even fears. As I type this it has been so good to think back and reflect on all that God has done in less than one year! Honestly, there have been days during the process that we have wondered how God would work through it all...But He has and He is! Isn't that the goodness of God? He is always good. Even when we may not see it at the time. In our flesh, when we feel as if we have hit a dead end, it is easier to think on the former things in life that were successful and compare to where we are now- but God. God and His Word bring comfort, peace and direction.
“But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland." Isa. 43:18-19
We know that God has already begun a good work in and through us and Hydrate Global Ministries. We will continue to trust His path, even in times of wilderness. We truly appreciate those of you who pray for us, send us encouraging messages and support us financially. These are ways that we together are making a positive impact on others for the Kingdom of God.
